Onsite training for groups in English or Spanish language.

Courses Overview

All of our first aid courses in Valencia meet with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and Spanish workplace requirements. Our company and trainers meet with the requirements for training providers in both countries so we are able to award both the UK course and the Spanish Soporte Vital Basico y DESA certifications.

Workplace Requirements in Comunidad Valenciana

Legislation was released in 2017 regarding workplace first aid training and the obligation on many workplaces in Comunidad Valenciana to install an automated external defibrillator.

Article 3 details which workplaces are legally obliged to install an automated external defibrillator and stipulates that employers are also required to train staff in its use. Training courses must be at least 4 hours in duration and include specific content.

Decreto 159/2017, de 6 de Octubre Diari Oficial de la Generalitat Valenciana

The following workplaces in the Comunidad Valenciana are legally required to install at least one automated external defibrillator:

  • Education centres with 1500+ capacity
  • Sports centres with 500+ daily users

Workplaces obliged to install an AED are also responsible to ensure that it is registered with the local healthcare department and routinely maintained. If you decide to purchase your AED and Safeguard plan through us then we take care of this for you.
