Q. Who Can Enrol In Our First Aid Courses And What Are The Pre-requisites?
  • A. Anyone, of any age may enrol in an Emergency First Response Course. The course is performance based, meaning that as long as you can meet each of the stated objectives and complete the necessary skills to the satisfaction of the instructor, you can receive a course completion card.
Q. How Often Must I Refresh My Skills?
  • A. The Health & Safety Executive recommend that you refresh your skills every year although certifications are valid for 2 years (24 months) in Europe and 3 years (36 months) in the UK. After successfully completing the course, participants receive a course completion authority card / CCA or Certificate. Emergency Responders can refresh their skills through a skills practice session or as part of a regular Emergency First Response course.
Q. What Are A Business Legal Obligations For First Aid At Work?
  • A. The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations Act in the UK and the Ley de Prevencion de Riesgos Laborales in Spain require employers to provide adequate and appropriate equipment, facilities and personnel to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work. These laws are governed by European and National legislation and protocols with regard to occupational health and safety and are regulated by the British Resuscitation Council in the UK, and the European Resuscitation Council (ERC) and Instituto Nacional de Seguridad E Higiene en el Trabajo (National Institute of Occupational Health & Safety) in Spain.
Q. None Of The Scheduled Dates Are Convenient, Can I Organise An Alternative Date?
  • A. Absolutely. We aim to be as flexible as possible and while it is not always possible, we will try our best to offer a date that is convenient to you. We can also provide onsite training at your location, at a time and date suitable to you for groups of up to 12 participants.
Q. How Do I Enrol For A Course?
  • A. Simple. To enrol for one of our First Aid Courses simply select a course and date that you would like to join and click the Enrol Now button on that page. You will be directed to our payment and enrolment page. Once you have completed this process you will be sent a confirmation email and will be enrolled on the course. All that is left is to turn up on the day and complete the days training.
